The Racial Justice Centre (RJC) is Australia’s first and only community legal service dedicated exclusively to racial justice. Founded by lawyers and community leaders with both extensive legal expertise and lived experience of intersectional discrimination, RJC’s mission is to ensure that every Australian can live free from racial discrimination. The organisation provides legal support, advocacy, and education to address systemic racism and promote equity across Australian society.
RJC operates nationally, serving both metropolitan and regional communities. Its work is grounded in community collaboration and a commitment to intersectionality, recognising how race intersects with other forms of discrimination. Through legal representation, strategic litigation, and policy reform, RJC aims to dismantle structural barriers and empower those most affected by racial injustice.
