Naragebup – Rockingham Regional Environment Centre is a not-for-profit hub dedicated to environmental education, sustainability, and community wellbeing. Established in 2000, we inspire people of all ages to connect with nature through hands-on experiences, conservation programs, and practical learning.

Naragebup is uniquely positioned as one of only three marine turtle rescue and rehabilitation centres in Western Australia, providing critical care for injured turtles while raising awareness of marine conservation. Alongside this specialised work, we deliver programs in wildlife care, sustainable gardening, recycling, and coastal protection.

The centre is 100% volunteer-run, making it not only a place of learning but also a vital space of connection and purpose for our volunteers. For many, Naragebup is central to their wellbeing, offering community, friendship, and the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution.

Each year, hundreds of school students, families, and community groups engage with our workshops, excursions, and volunteer opportunities. These experiences build environmental awareness, practical skills, and stronger connections with nature.
