Run For It

Run For It is an organisation run by young people for young people.

We are an independent, non-partisan political organisation working towards better policy outcomes for current and future generations of young people. 

We do this by: 

• Training and encouraging young leaders to take on election campaigns as candidates and community organisers.
• Increasing the amount of young people voting and actively engaging in our democracy.
• Fighting for a fairer system for young people in politics.

Politics doesn’t have to be like this.

At Run For It, we believe that if we resource, train and inspire enough young people to engage in politics, the diverse needs of the next generation will be heard and responded to by our politicians and decision-makers – because young people can determine election outcomes.

Run For It will establish a national, online, non-partisan campaigns fellowship program for young organisers, activists and advocates. This program will teach a diverse range of skills necessary for community based change making, with a particular focus on local government and electoral campaigning.

Run For It is auspiced by Foundation for Young Australians (FYA). Tax receipts for any donations are issued by FYA.
