Salute For Service Australia is a veteran-founded, nationally operating charity transforming the lives of current and former Australian Defence Force (ADF) members and their families. Established in 2020 and operated by a team with lived military experience, we offer personalised, trauma-informed support that empowers veterans to thrive in civilian life.

Our mission is to optimise outcomes across all stages of military transition through evidence-based programs and holistic care that addresses mental health, physical wellbeing, financial stability, education, and career development, family support and community support. Our vision is a future where all veterans and their families live connected, resilient, and purpose-driven lives beyond service.

Since scaling nationally in 2024, we’ve supported over 6,000 veterans and family members through integrated services spanning:
Combat to Career – career coaching, recognition of previous experiences and qualifications, and job placement
Support Services – mental health, allied health, financial counselling, and advocacy
Legacy Learning Academy – funded tutoring for Defence children aged 6–25
The Toolbox – a hybrid digital platform offering wellbeing tools, career resources, and community referrals

We work closely with employers, educators, government, and the wider support ecosystem to ensure wraparound care that drives long-term wellbeing, reduces isolation, and builds intergenerational resilience.

Funding partnerships help us expand reach across metro, regional, and remote communities, particularly those facing trauma, disconnection, or socio-economic disadvantage.
