Organisation Summary

SchoolKits for Congo is a project of Rotary Australia World Community Service equipping children to return to school in occupied Eastern Congo.

There is no social security and very little employment available there, so our impact is to realise the children’s human right to basic education. We also provide employment for a local team of internally displaced mothers, so that they can avoid homelessness and educate their children, by manufacturing the backpacks and uniforms in the city where they are needed.
