SA Rainbow Advocacy Alliance is the member-powered charitable peak body dedicated to uplifting LGBTIQA+ South Australians and the sector that supports us.
Our vision is for LGBTIQA+ South Australians to thrive in an inclusive society where we experience optimal health, safety, inclusion, equity, and equality.
We know that LGBTIQA+ South Australians can live happy, healthy and safe lives when we’re affirmed and supported by our friends, families, service providers, systems and governments. We exist to make this happen.
We work for and with our communities to improve the lives of LGBTIQA+ South Australians in 3 ways.
– We advocate for changes to laws, policy and practice that enhance the quality of life for LGBTIQA+ South Australians.
– We empower our communities by building capacity and providing resources to tackle the unique challenges that impact us.
– We promote inclusion to help all South Australians support and affirm the LGBTIQA+ people in their lives, creating a more compassionate and connected society.
