The South Brisbane Federal Band is a community-focused brass band with a rich history and a commitment to musical excellence. Founded in 1912, we have been a proud fixture in the Brisbane music scene for over a century, providing a platform for musicians of all ages and skill levels to come together, rehearse, and perform.
Our members share a passion for brass band music, ranging from traditional marches and classical pieces to contemporary arrangements. We perform at a variety of events, including concerts, parades, festivals, and community gatherings, bringing joy to audiences with our vibrant sound.
At the South Brisbane Federal Band, we believe in fostering a sense of camaraderie, creativity, and community.
