Suited to Success

Suited to Success (STS) helps people in Queensland overcome barriers to employment, and provides employment assistance, career coaching, workshops, styling services (including clothing), and peer support activities at no cost to the people who need our services. Our mission is to inspire hope and self-belief for brighter futures. Established in 2008, we have supported thousands of people on their journey to thrive in work and in life.

Our services include:
– Styling Boutique – styling sessions and outfits. We provide: interview styling, employment suiting (additional outfits upon securing a job), and clothing.
– Career Hub – a one-on-one support service, assisting job-seekers in five key areas: resume refresh, resume writing, job application support, interview preparation, and career mentoring and support. This service is also available virtually.

Each year, we help over 1,500 people throughout Queensland. We provide each client with the tools and professional attire to secure employment. However, our services are about much more than simply a new outfit or resume. The true impact and community benefit can be found in the increased capacity and confidence of our clients.

Our services are about more than gifting new clothing or resume assistance. They are about saying ‘we are with you’, ‘we believe in you’ and ‘you are welcome here’. They are about community care and connection, and our clients experiencing the transformational power of feeling seen.
