The Australian Impact Foundation is a Victorian Public Benevolent Institution dedicated to improving the wellbeing of people experiencing financial hardship by addressing the connection between financial stress and mental health.
They provide practical support and free financial wellbeing education to help individuals build confidence, reduce financial stress and make informed decisions. Their programs include community workshops and seminars covering topics such as budgeting, Centrelink, retirement planning, superannuation and scam awareness, alongside a community food pantry that provides immediate assistance to people facing financial hardship.
By combining early intervention, education and direct community support, The Australian Impact Foundation aim to prevent financial problems from escalating into more serious social and mental health challenges. They work with experienced professionals and community partners to deliver trusted, independent information that empowers people to improve their financial wellbeing and quality of life.
The Australian Impact Foundation’s vision is a community where everyone has access to the knowledge and support they need to build financial resilience and live with greater confidence and dignity.
