At The Lighthouse Toowoomba, we are dedicated to supporting our vibrant community by working with existing organisations that help children in crisis. We do this by offering FREE, wildly inventive literacy-based workshops that inspire and empower children to express themselves creatively.
Our location in the CBD is a hub of creativity, with a dedicated youth writers centre for children, workshop spaces for adults to explore their creative pursuits, and a gift shop where you can find unique and special items that you won’t find anywhere else. Our experiential art gallery features regularly changing immersive exhibitions that showcase local and international talent. Additionally, our One-Way Library accepts donations of cherished children’s books that we lovingly re-home.
We believe that by fostering a love of reading and the arts, we can make a positive difference in the lives of children and families in our community.
