We are The Dish — a local Christian organisation dedicated to serving the Hornsby, Sydney community with food, friendship, and inclusive support.
Together, we:
– Provide nourishing meals for up to 40 people every Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday night, all year round.
– Foster genuine friendships and create a welcoming, non-judgmental community for those experiencing vulnerability or isolation.
– Run our Community Food Care Program, rescuing fresh food from local supermarkets and bakeries that would otherwise go to waste, and stocking our Community Pantry to support those in need.
– Welcome everyone without question — we don’t ask why people come to us; we’re simply grateful they do.
