Think Forward

Think Forward is led by a group of younger Australians who want to see issues of intergenerational fairness centred in our economic and tax systems.

We founded Think Forward in response to a growing awareness that younger generations are facing a unique set of economic issues stemming from our tax and economic system and lack of long-term thinking from our policymakers.

Our mission is to facilitate a prosperous and sustainable future through transformational change in our economic and tax systems and how policymaking is done.

We undertake high-quality research and provide policy advice to add new information and voices to the nation’s economic debates. We convene across government, academia, business and the NGO sector to explore long-term creative solutions to the critical and complex structural policy challenges Australia faces.

We advocate for the change we want to see and educate younger generations on tax and economic systems to equip them with the knowledge and opportunities to participate in economic and tax debates that will shape the future.
