Tradeswomen Australia Community Foundation (TWACF) empowers women and non-binary individuals facing vulnerability or risk by supporting them into secure, sustainable careers in non-traditional trades. With women making up only 2% of Australia’s trade workforce, Tradeswomen Australia is tackling the systemic barriers that prevent diverse participation in the industry, creating pathways to financial security and career success.
With a proven track record of driving psychosocial mobility, Tradeswomen Australia works alongside community partners to provide holistic, wraparound support – ensuring every participant is guided through their trade exploration, training, employment, and long-term career success.
Our mission is to equip individuals with the skills, confidence, and opportunities they need to thrive in the trades industry. Through hands-on training, mentorship, and post-employment support, we create pathways to financial independence, breaking barriers and fostering lasting change.
By working side by side with dedicated community partners, Tradeswomen Australia delivers collaborative, strength-based solutions that provide certainty, opportunity, and a clear path forward for every individual we support.
