Transparency International Australia is the national chapter of Transparency International, a global coalition against corruption operating in over 100 countries. Each chapter is independent and unique, and together we aspire to a unified vision: a world free of corruption.
Our mission is to tackle corruption by shining a light on the illegal practices and unfair laws that weaken our democracy. We shine a spotlight through our research, which informs our evidence-based advocacy to build a better system. We work collaboratively with businesses, government agencies and community groups to close the loopholes on corruption.
By promoting transparency and accountability, we ensure our government and business sectors operate with the highest standards of integrity. By tackling corruption, we tackle the root causes of social and environmental injustice and the barriers to fair and sustainable development.
