Uniting Vic Tas

Uniting is the community services organisation of the Uniting Church. We’ve been supporting people and families for over 200 years.

We empower children, young people and families to learn and thrive. We’re there for people experiencing homelessness, drug and alcohol addiction or mental health issues. We support people with disability to live the life they choose.

We provide people with opportunities to access training and meaningful employment. We’re proud to welcome and support asylum seekers to our community. We work to empower people with the information, skills and tools they need to live a healthy, happy life.

In FY24 we provided 111,500 community meals, food vouchers and emergency relief packages to those in need of food relief, helped 11,300 people at risk of or experiencing homelessness to find accommodation, supported 6780 people in recovery from alcohol and drugs, supported 3140people in their mental health journey, facilitated 360 information requests to our Heritage Service, enabled 4150 children to access early learning programs, answered 34200 Lifeline calls, supported 1200 people into community and social housing, and supported 4410 cares through our carer programs.

As an organisation, we celebrate our diversity and welcome all people regardless of ethnicity, faith, sexual orientation and gender identity. We acknowledge Aboriginal and Torres Straight Islanders as Australia’s First Peoples and as the traditional owners and custodians of the land on which we work.
We need funding to provide much needed food relief, support for those experiencing homelessness and help for the vulnerable in our community.
