As well as being one of Australia's leading football clubs, through the highly acclaimed Wanderers Foundation we also run fee-free football programs for marginalised communities across Western Sydney (Australia's fastest-growing economy), allowing thousands of people to access football opportunities every year.
The Wanderers Foundation has three pillars and focus areas: female football, multicultural/indigenous football and football for people with a disability. Providing people with access to football, coaching and incredible facilities provides pathways for people into playing professionally, as well as coaching. There are also huge benefits we see around improved physical and mental health, reduced isolation, improved attendance and outcomes at school as well as improved confidence and self esteem.
