Wesley Mission

For more than 200 years, Wesley Mission has been driven by a mission to walk alongside Australians facing life’s challenges and to confront inequity in our communities. Ours is a story of faith, hope and commitment. It began when a pioneering church opened its doors as a refuge for people who were forgotten and marginalised. Those small beginnings grew into a bold and lasting mission to do more good, to challenge injustice, stand with those in need, and ensure no one suffers unfairly or suffers alone.

Today, we remain relentless in supporting people at every stage of life. Grounded in compassion and inspired by Jesus’ example of love in action, we’re here for those who need us, whether in moments of transition or across a lifetime. Our community services provide care across homelessness, families in crisis, financial wellbeing, mental health, aged care and disability support.

We dedicate ourselves to protecting communities by creating vital safety nets like Lifeline, and by raising our voice against systemic injustices such as housing inequity and gambling harm. In 2026, we expanded this commitment through The Willow, our new domestic and family violence shelter. The Willow provides a safe, healing environment where women and children can rebuild their lives with dignity, supported by wraparound services.

This is a story that has no end. It unfolds in the life and potential of every person and community. In this world of extraordinary shifts, one thing does not change: we remain driven to do more good.
