Will2live has been supplying hot meals to the homeless community of Sydney 5 nights a week for 15 years. We rely heavily on food rescue to redistribute nutritious meals to those living below the poverty line. We serve over 500 hot meals to those in need daily. Since 2012, over one million meals.
We are non-religious. The nightly environment we have created allows those who have no voice and are not seen to feel safe and part of a community that cares about them. We supply individual hot meals to housing commission blocks daily, loaves of bread and fruit.
Currently, we have an NFP cafe and centre under construction at 40 Botany Rd, Alexandria, which will be fully operational soon. This will become a centre where those living rough will be able to access food and services when needed.
