Since 2005, Yalari has been providing Indigenous children from regional and remote communities across Australia the opportunity to receive a full boarding school scholarship for their entire secondary education. We believe education is the key to generational change and a brighter future for Indigenous Australians and for our nation. We are deeply committed to the ongoing success of our national program of scholarships, student support and post-school opportunities.
After 20 years of operation, our alumni represent one of the largest networks of educated and connected Indigenous leaders in this country. Through their transformational experience with Yalari, they are creating change within their own Indigenous communities and in broader Australia.
There are many opportunities to assist Yalari’s mission, including scholarships for Yalari’s 250 current high school students and supporting the comprehensive academic, wellbeing and pastoral care. Yalari also provides life-long support to its 600 alumni including tertiary scholarships, leadership opportunities and personal development such as financial literacy and wellbeing.
