Project Summary

“Connect and Thrive: Building Community Together” is an initiative by Seville Community House aimed at combating social isolation and loneliness within the Seville community. Recognizing the impact of these issues on well-being, the project provides ongoing social spaces where individuals can connect, engage, and build meaningful relationships.

The project includes:
– Weekly Coffee and Chat Space for Parents/Caregivers: This group offers a welcoming environment for parents and caregivers from the primary school to come together, share experiences, and form supportive networks.
– Quarterly Self-Care Group for Carers: Focused on those who care for others, this group meets quarterly to provide a space for relaxation, self-care, and peer support, helping carers manage their responsibilities and maintain their well-being.
– Weekly Hangout Space for High School Students: Aimed at providing a safe and fun environment, this group gives high school students a space to socialize, connect with peers and reduce feelings of isolation.

Through these regular gatherings, ” Connect and Thrive” seeks to create a stronger, more connected community where no one feels isolated or alone.
