SPECTRUM 3
About Us –
Spectrum 3 INC is a registered not-for-profit based in Melbourne, founded by families with lived experience of autism and neurodiversity. We exist to empower neurodiverse individuals through inclusive, community-led programs that promote wellbeing, confidence, and independence. Our vision is a society where neurodiverse people thrive—not just survive.
The Issue –
Neurodiverse individuals often face barriers to physical activity, social engagement, and life skill development. These challenges contribute to isolation, anxiety, and long-term disadvantage. In Melbourne’s northern growth corridor, services are scarce, leaving many young people locked in—disconnected from opportunities to build healthy, fulfilling lives. Spectrum 3 INC seeks to change that by creating safe, structured environments where individuals can grow on their own terms.
Why Us –
We’re led by people who live these experiences every day. Our team combines professional insight with deep personal commitment. We listen, adapt, and respond with empathy and accountability. Our programs are designed to meet people where they are, supporting real-world outcomes and meaningful participation.
Current Priorities –
• Running wekly inclusive martial arts (S3 Martial Arts)
• Launching social gaming (S3 Gaming) and life skills training (S3 Life Skills) in 2026
How Funding Helps –
Funding helps us deliver programs, train qualified staff, reach underserved communities, and scale impact. We aim to ensure no neurodiverse person is turned away due to cost.
Impact –
Since 2024, all of participants in our exercise martial arts pilot have reported greater confidence, improved wellbeing, and a sense of belonging.
