Kitty Rescue Squad is a not-for-profit organisation founded in October 2021 by a group of Latin American women that love animals and believe every person can help and give back to society.
Our main goal is to help control and reduce the overpopulation of feral and stray cats in Melbourne through desexing programs, medical care, rehabilitation, rehoming and community education.
The organisation is funded by donations from supporters and volunteers. Likewise, our rescue and rehabilitation program has been supported by our foster carers.

- Community Engagement Growth: Increased participation in responsible pet ownership workshops, adoption events, and wellness programs like cat yoga.
- Financial Sustainability: Self-sustaining operations through café revenue, event hosting, and community support, reducing reliance on external donations.
- Public Awareness & Education: Higher attendance at workshops and digital engagement metrics (social media reach, website visits) reflecting greater awareness of responsible pet ownership.
