We request your support in replacing a vital piece of equipment within our men’s residential program—our industrial washing machine, which has recently broken down. ONE80TC ONE80TC

ONE80TC is a faith-based rehabilitation organisation providing a structured, evidence-informed pathway for individuals facing substance dependence, mental health challenges, and co-occurring conditions. Our mission is to rescue, restore, and rebuild lives through a holistic model that addresses the physical, psychological, social, and spiritual dimensions of recovery.

Our program is delivered through an 18-month continuum of care, beginning with a 6-month residential therapeutic community. In this highly structured environment, participants engage in intensive recovery work, peer-led support, and daily routines that foster accountability and behavioural change, while completing a Certificate III in Community Services.

Participants then transition into a 12-month graduate program, where they continue their recovery journey with increasing independence, undertake leadership roles, and complete Diplomas in Alcohol and Other Drugs and Mental Health—equipping them for meaningful employment and community reintegration.

Our model integrates evidence-based approaches including Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), trauma-informed care (ACE framework), SMART Recovery, 12-Step recovery, and family systems support. Participants also have access to GPs, psychologists, psychiatrists, and supervised medication management, alongside ongoing drug and alcohol monitoring.

Project Outcomes

While a washing machine may seem like a simple necessity, within our program it plays a much deeper role. Our residents, who are overcoming life-controlling issues, are taught practical life skills as part of their journey toward independence and restoration. Learning to care for their own clothing instills responsibility, dignity, and routine—skills many take with them as they transition back into everyday life.

This seemingly small investment directly contributes to rebuilding lives. It equips men not only with cleanliness and self-care habits but also with the confidence and structure needed for sustainable change beyond our program.

Your support in funding a replacement industrial washing machine would make an immediate and meaningful difference in both daily operations and long-term outcomes for the men we serve.
