Australian Communities Foundation is pleased to launch the Climate Giving Resource Hub – designed to support funders to learn, connect and act together on climate, the focus for our Impact Fund 2026 program.
The Impact Fund is Australian Communities Foundation’s flagship collective giving initiative, powered by people who believe that lasting change is something we create together.
Since 2017, over 200 funders have pooled resources and insights through the Fund, backing bold solutions to Australia’s toughest challenges. Together, we have distributed over $11 million to changemaking organisations across the country.
In 2026, the Impact Fund enters a new chapter. Rather than funding within narrow issue silos, the Impact Fund now takes a holistic approach, recognising that real change is interconnected and driven by people and movements working across systems.
Each year, the Impact Fund community will mobilise around a challenge of national significance, with a multi-year Catalyst Grant supporting a key systems-change initiative. This more focused approach is complemented by our ongoing Agile Grants program, enabling the Impact Fund community to continue responding to timely opportunities.
This year, the Impact Fund is focused on the climate crisis – recognising that Australia is at a critical inflection point, and that coordinated, community-led action is essential to accelerating climate solutions at the scale required. Reflecting ACF’s commitment to shifting power to those on the frontlines of change, a Community Advisory Group of trusted community and sector partners is helping shape this work by bringing diverse perspectives and expertise.
The Climate Giving Resource Hub brings this focus to life, offering funders a curated set of tools and insights to support informed, impactful climate giving. Designed to support funders at every stage, it creates pathways to build understanding, connect with others and take meaningful action together.
We’ll be updating the Hub regularly throughout the year with new events and timely resources – we encourage you to bookmark the page and return to it as your climate giving evolves.
