Operating since 1975, we are an Australian charity committed to delivering the highest standard of aeromedical and rescue services to those in need across Northern NSW.
We work in partnership with NSW Ambulance and NSW Health, with bases in Belmont, Tamworth, and Lismore, as well as a maintenance and engineering facility in Newcastle.
Project Summary
This project will fund one ALPHA Eagle Flight Ops Core Helmet for the Northern NSW Helicopter Rescue Service flight crews.
Designed for helicopter operations, this lightweight helmet offers high-level protection, integrated communications, active noise reduction, and night-vision compatibility. The new equipment will strengthen crew safety, comfort, and communication during critical aeromedical missions serving communities across Northern NSW.
The Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service is committed to the highest aviation-safety standards through continuous improvement and scheduled equipment renewal. Procuring a new ALPHA Eagle Helmet ensures pilots and aircrew have the latest protective and communications technology to support safe, effective mission delivery.
