No Limits Perth
No Limits Perth is a volunteer-driven, apolitical not-for-profit organisation based in Perth’s northern suburbs, providing practical emergency relief to individuals and families experiencing crisis. Established in 2015, the organisation was founded in response to a growing need within the community for immediate, compassionate and non-judgemental support.
No Limits Perth assists those facing homelessness, family and domestic violence, and severe financial hardship by providing essential items and services that help people stabilise and rebuild their lives. Key programs include the Starting Over Service, which delivers once-off whole-of-home setups for individuals transitioning into secure housing, free food hampers and frozen meals, and Community Services Support Hubs that offer wrap-around support in partnership with other organisations.
All donated items, including furniture, clothing and household goods, are provided free of charge, ensuring dignity and accessibility for those in need. The organisation is supported by a strong network of volunteers, community donors and partner organisations, enabling it to respond quickly and effectively to increasing demand.
Each week, No Limits Perth supports hundreds of households through food relief and essential services, while also assisting families to establish safe and stable homes after crisis. With a focus on kindness, dignity and practical action, the organisation continues to play a critical role in strengthening community resilience and supporting vulnerable individuals to move forward with hope and stability.
Project Summary
Kindness in Crisis – Starting Over supports women and families escaping family and domestic violence to rebuild their lives in safe, stable homes. For many, leaving an unsafe environment is only the first step—setting up a new home without the basic essentials can be overwhelming and, at times, impossible.
Through this project, No Limits Perth will provide complete household setups, including beds, furniture, white goods and essential items, ensuring individuals and families can move into housing that is safe, functional and dignified. By removing the financial and practical barriers of starting over, we enable people to leave unsafe situations sooner and begin their recovery with stability and security.
This work is critical because many of those we support arrive with little to nothing, often transitioning from crisis accommodation or temporary arrangements. Without access to essential household items, the risk of homelessness or returning to unsafe environments increases significantly.
With over 10 years of experience, No Limits Perth understands that a home is more than just a roof—it is the foundation for healing, independence and hope. Through strong community partnerships, donated goods and dedicated volunteers, we are able to deliver practical, immediate support when it is needed most.
Kindness in Crisis – Starting Over ensures that individuals and families are not only housed, but truly supported to rebuild their lives with dignity, safety and a renewed sense of belonging.
Project Outcomes
Through Kindness in Crisis – Starting Over, we aim to support women and families escaping family and domestic violence to safely transition into secure, stable housing with the essential items needed to rebuild their lives.
Our goal is to remove the barriers that often prevent people from leaving unsafe environments—particularly the lack of access to basic household essentials. By providing complete home setups, we help ensure that individuals and families can move into safe, functional and dignified living environments, reducing the risk of homelessness or returning to harmful situations.
We aim to support 30–40 households, impacting approximately 120–160 individuals, including women and children. Beyond immediate safety, we are working to create long-term stability, improved wellbeing and the opportunity for individuals to begin healing and rebuilding their lives.
We will know we have achieved our goals through clear, measurable outcomes. This includes the number of households supported, the number of individuals impacted, and the successful establishment of safe and functional homes. We will also monitor referral pathways and, where possible, follow-up outcomes such as housing stability and reduced reliance on crisis services.
Ultimately, success means that those we support are not only safe, but have the foundation, dignity and stability needed to move forward with confidence and hope.
