Breast Cancer Research Centre WA Breast Cancer Research Centre WA

The Breast Cancer Research Centre- WA (BCRC-WA) was established in 2009 under the stewardship of Professor Arlene Chan OAM and Dr Peter Willsher who felt passionately about establishing a centre of excellence for breast cancer care here in Western Australia.

The Breast Cancer Research Centre – WA is a clinician-led organisation offering treatment, clinical trials and research, patient education and support services. We are a non-for-profit organisation that provides evidence-based treatments for breast cancer to increase survival rates and prolong life. We are committed to being a one-stop shop for breast cancer patients in Western Australia. By alleviating distress, expediting processes, and minimising wait times, we aim to provide comprehensive care and support.

Each patient is offered access to Specialized Breast Cancer nurses and Clinical Psychologists to support them through their breast cancer experience. Donations are directed to research, support and education programs and provision of services benefiting our patients and their families.
